BEYOND TIME

AN OVERNIGHT GONG CEREMONY

Seven Hours of Live Gong • Twilight to Sunrise
From the Day Out of Time into the Galactic New Year
JULY 25 - 26, 2026
WAITSFIELD, VERMONT
A GONG CEREMONY FOR THE GALACTIC NEW YEAR

One day each year, there is a day that sits outside the ordinary calendar.

The Beyond Time All-Night Gong Ceremony is inspired by the modern 13 Moon calendar.
13 moons x 28 day moon cycle = 364 days

The 365th day is known as the Day Out of Time. July 25 is observed throughout the world as a pause between one year and the next.

INTRODUCTION

A Live Seven-Hour Overnight Gong Bath as Ceremony

From twilight on the Day Out of Time until sunrise on the Galactic New Year, you will be immersed in seven hours of a live gong bath. In this liminal space, the cosmic consciousness of the gong invites you to cross the threshold between one cycle and the nextthrough the matrix of galactic time.

This is not a concert.

It is not a performance.

It is not a traditional sound bath.

It is ceremony.

THE CEREMONY

Into the Night: Experience Time as Art

Throughout the night, the gong is never silent. Its voice rises and recedes, sometimes filling the space with powerful resonance, sometimes whispering at the edge of awareness in sleep or dreams.

Held within a continuous field of coherent sound, each participant enters a different landscape. The cosmic power of the gongs will invite you on a journey that is uniquely yours. Some experience profound stillness, vivid dreams, or travel to otherworldly dimensions. Others encounter unexpected insight, emotional release, and expanded awareness. The gong can transmute darkness, stress, and anxiety, allowing you to release old wounds, fears, or negative patterns.

Open the door to other realms, experience time as art, and find yourself centered in the cosmos!

Why Overnight? The Tradition of the All-Night Gong Bath

Overnight gong immersions have become known in many sound healing communities as Gong Pujas, originating through the teachings of Grand Gong Master Don Conreaux. Like the the Beyond Time Ceremony, they are extended ceremonies in which the gong is played continuously throughout the night while participants rest and sleep.

A traditional sound bath typically lasts between 60 and 90 minutes. The all-night immersions invite the body and mind into a much longer relationship with sound. The continuous resonance creates an evolving sonic landscape that accompanies participants through the natural rhythms of the night—from wakefulness, to dreaming, to deep rest, and even other planes, dimensions and worlds—until the first light of dawn.

Beyond Time is inspired by this tradition while being rooted in the unique significance of the Day Out of Time. Rather than focusing solely on the overnight immersion itself, this gathering honors the transition between cycles—a ceremonial pause before the beginning of a new year.

Why the Day Out of Time?

The Day Out of Time is a day for reflection before beginning a new cycle, not merely a solar-lunar orbital measure, but one coded with galactic time. Through the 13 Moon calendar, human consciousness can enter into galactic consciousness. It is a day to celebrate time as art.

The Beyond Time Overnight Gong Immersion is inspired by the modern 13 Moon calendar, which draws from the ancient 260-day sacred count of Mesoamerica while offering its own contemporary framework for understanding cycles of time.

The date of July 25 is the annual Day Out of Time, as it originally correlated to the heliacal rising of Sirius in ancient Egypt.

FAQs

Will I actually sleep? Many people do. Others drift between soft awareness, sleep, and other dimensions throughout the night.

Is the gong really played all night? Yes. From 9:45 p.m. until just before sunrise, the gong is played live and continuously, creating an evolving field of sound throughout the night.

Do I need experience with meditation or sound baths? No. This experience is designed for both newbies and seasoned sound bath goers.

Can I leave during the night? Because the ceremony is designed as a complete overnight immersion, participants are encouraged to remain for the full experience whenever possible.

What if I snore? The gongs will be powerful, but this is a shared sleeping environment. Earplugs are recommended for sensitive sleepers, and everyone is invited to approach the experience with mutual care and understanding.
